Manual AR Bag Measure

Played a key role in developing interactive broadcast solutions for nationwide live election coverage in Sri Lanka using Unity3D, helping transform complex real-time election data into engaging on-screen visual experiences for television audiences. I was primarily responsible for building and optimizing several core systems including the Election Card System, AR Data Bars, AR Election Map, Presenter View Interfaces, Touch Screen Applications used by backstage production teams, and live TV Bug Applications displayed during broadcasts.

These applications were designed for high-pressure live television environments where performance, stability, and accuracy were critical. The systems processed live election data in real time and converted it into visually dynamic graphics, interactive interfaces, and augmented reality visualizations that supported presenters and production teams throughout continuous election-night coverage.

Working closely with broadcast operators, designers, and production teams, I focused on creating responsive UI systems, smooth animations, efficient data handling pipelines, and optimized rendering workflows to ensure seamless live operation without interruptions. The AR-based visual systems enhanced storytelling during broadcasts by allowing presenters to interact with live election statistics, maps, and graphical data in a more immersive and visually compelling way.

This project showcased my ability to use Unity3D beyond traditional game development by engineering large-scale real-time media applications for live television production, combining interactive technology, data visualization, broadcast graphics, and augmented reality into a reliable production-ready ecosystem used during one of Sri Lanka’s most viewed national events.
