Artcurial

Developed Artcurial, a first-person shooter game built from scratch in Unity3D with a strong focus on narrative-driven gameplay and complete end-to-end game development. The project was designed with a full storyline structure, combining immersive storytelling with refined FPS mechanics to create a more polished and advanced gameplay experience compared to earlier prototypes developed by the team.
My responsibilities covered a wide range of core development areas, including player controller systems, weapon management systems, combat mechanics, and animation integration to ensure smooth and responsive first-person gameplay. A significant focus was placed on refining player movement, shooting responsiveness, and weapon handling to deliver a more polished and engaging FPS experience.
In addition, I worked extensively on level design and environment structuring, ensuring that gameplay flow aligned with the narrative progression and provided balanced combat scenarios throughout the game. The project also included implementation of game animations, environmental interactions, and system-level gameplay mechanics that supported both storytelling and combat immersion.
Many of the core mechanics were evolved and refined versions of systems previously implemented in Agnidaha, including movement logic, shooting systems, and weapon handling, but further optimized and polished to meet a higher production quality standard. This iterative improvement approach helped enhance gameplay fluidity, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
The project was developed using Unity3D and C#, combining technical gameplay programming with creative level design and storytelling to deliver a cohesive first-person shooter experience. Artcurial demonstrated strong capabilities in FPS system development, narrative game design, animation integration, gameplay refinement, and full-cycle game development from concept to final implementation.
